Michael Jasper
Design Engineer
If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind the clever system designs that make Avenue’s projects tick, meet Michael Jaspers, our design engineer and part-time philosopher of sound. Michael lives in the space before the ink dries—designing and quoting systems for customers on the sales side, ensuring that every solution is ready before the project even begins. While the project team handles the nuts and bolts of installation, Michael crafts the blueprint, turning big ideas into structured, smart, and scalable systems.
Michael has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and has gained much of his expertise from the real world: trade organization training, years of hands-on experience, and many hours gaining his high-level certifications from QSC. He’s fluent in DSP and control programming, comfortable with audio measurement and acoustical simulation, and gifted at breaking down complex projects into manageable parts. What keeps him coming back each day? The moment a client lights up when the final product exceeds expectations.
Outside of work, Michael trades engineering hats for dad hats, serving as “part-time chauffeur” to his three kids—a high school senior, a sophomore, and a sixth grader. He also squeezes in morning workouts with his son, volunteers running sound or directing video at his church, and occasionally strums a guitar. He and his wife, Adrian, have been married for 21 years and still find time for family adventures and kayaking trips.
Whether he’s dissecting acoustics or cracking jokes, Michael brings equal parts precision and personality to everything he does at Avenue.
