15 Years of Avenue Systems

Fifteen years ago—back in 2010—I started Avenue Systems with a simple idea: be the trusted partner that helps people get from point A to point B with clarity, integrity, and excellence. Even the name “Avenue” hints at that—a way forward. Today, standing here in 2025, I’m humbled by how that idea has grown into a people-first AV design-build team serving churches, schools, corporate and hospitality spaces all over the country.

From day one, our north star has been people. Technology is only as good as the experience it creates for humans—volunteers, teachers, worship leaders, production teams, and the audiences they serve. That’s why our process is transparent and collaborative from the first conversation through final handoff and ongoing support.

WHAT’S EVOLVED (AND MADE US BETTER)

The tools have changed a lot since 2010. Displays got bigger and smarter, audio got cleaner and more networked, control systems got way more intuitive—and expectations rose with them. We leaned in. We built a team that blends engineering rigor with a people-centered approach. We’ve invested in content and education—developing one of the best teams within our sector.

And when supply chains tightened and tariffs shifted pricing across the industry, we doubled down on wide-open communication: honest updates, design alternatives, and “no surprises” project management.
