Calvary Baptist Church
EASTON, PA
Calvary Church in Easton, PA came to Avenue Systems with a clear goal to modernize their worship space while staying grounded in stewardship and long-term flexibility. The project was built on an existing relationship and a high level of trust, which set the tone from the very beginning. With their facility relying on aging technology, Calvary’s leadership knew it was time to invest in systems that would support both present needs and facilitate future growth.
The vision was not about excess, it was about capability. Like many churches, Calvary felt the pressure to adapt during COVID, particularly around live streaming and broadcast. What started as a need quickly became an opportunity to rethink how AV technologies could work together to better serve both in-person and online gatherings.
Wanting to make the most of their budget and investment, Avenue Systems partnered closely with the Calvary team to maximize impact without unnecessary complexity. The main auditorium received an Allen & Heath dLive console, delivering expanded I/O, improved reliability, and room to grow. For broadcast, an Allen & Heath SQ console was installed, connected via a Dante network to allow for a dedicated stream mix—ensuring the online experience received the same care as the in-room service.

The worship team experience was also elevated with an ME personal monitoring system and wireless in-ear systems, giving musicians more control and consistency week to week. Alongside the audio upgrades, new video cameras were added to support high-quality streaming—something the church had never had before.
Avenue prides itself on maintaining long-term partnerships with their customers. After successfully updating the initially scoped AV systems, Calvary brought Avenue back to continue improvements and updates to their systems. This included wireless intercom, updated stage lighting and lighting control, and a new projector for the auditorium. By approaching the project in phases, Calvary was able to move forward confidently, investing as needs evolved rather than all at once.
Today, Calvary Church has a system that is reliable, flexible, and built for the future. Worship services are supported by technology that enhances, not distracts from the message. Streaming is now a strength rather than a stress point, and the church is positioned to continue expanding its reach.
For Avenue Systems, the project was more than an installation. It was a partnership rooted in trust, thoughtful design, and a shared desire to create something meaningful. And for Calvary Church, it marked a new season; one where technology supports their mission with confidence and care.
